kimono madness

Photos edited by Kristine Romano

If there is one thing we can’t stress enough it is how fabulous you feel when you wear a floor length kimono. It is one of the most effortless confidence boosters. The feeling of the kimono floating around your ankles in the wind and having the long sleeves lightly draped around your arms gives off an essence of ethereality.

We would like to apologise for the lack of posts recently. As you know we are attending university and that can get quite hectic at times. This past week has been particularly busy with having to meet both of our projects’ deadlines. Also, once we both get our art blogs up and running we’ll post them for those who are curious about what goes on in art school.

We hope you all had a lovely weekend and stay tuned for more on Folie à Deux.

Johnny wears: Custom made velvet head-wrap, robe from Chinatown in Singapore, custom made trousers from his tailor, black t-shirt from American Apparel, black Doc Martens and the now infamous choker by Nitya Arora.

Ali wears: Black custom made maxi, kimono from Japan, necklace by Nitya Arora, velvet boots from UO, black hat from Brandy Melville.
